Ohio recycling company takes equity stake in Brazilian recycler

Itran Inc. a Richfield, Ohio based metals and electronics recycler has acquired an equity stake in Reciclo Metais of Sao Paolo, Brazil. Reciclo Metais is a fully licensed electronics recycling company that operates throughout Brazil (http://www.reciclometais.com.br).

Itran's President, Ryan McAllister believes there are significant growth opportunities in Brazil, "We are extremely happy to be entering the Brazilian market at this time of rapid growth both in the recycling industry and the country. The Brazil addition fits our global growth strategy to provide an environmentally sound recycling solution for customers who require knowledge & experience with international regulations and compliance."

Reciclo Metais will be focused on building its recycling services provided to reverse logistics companies, OEM's, 3PL's, other recyclers and multinational companies that are already established in Brazil and those that need support for entry.
